1.Bodrum Underwater Archeology Museum

Bodrum Underwater Archeology Museum, which is among the important and few museums not only in our country but also in the world, is the only underwater archeology museum in our country. The museum, which displays the sunken ship remains and the goods carried by the ships from the excavations in and around Bodrum, is located in Bodrum Castle, Turkey’s only intact and still standing castle.

There are 14 exhibition halls in the museum, which was created within the castle. There are pottery called amphora, glassware and Byzantine period ruins. One of the most important remains is the Ancient Ship ruin. The remains of the Ancient Ship, which sank in 1025, are exhibited in the Serçe Limani Glass Wreck Hall and is known as the oldest shipwreck in the world.

2. Zeki Müren Art Museum

Our art sun Zeki Müren spent his last days in his house in Bodrum. After Zeki Müren passed away, this house where he lived was converted into a museum and welcomes its visitors as Zeki Müren Art Museum.

In the garden of the museum; Zeki Müren’s car and statue are located inside the museum; stage costumes, jewelry, paintings, awards, photographs, personal belongings and letters from fans are on display.

As you can get to know Zeki Müren better by examining his life and works, there is no doubt that you will experience nostalgic moments while visiting the museum.

3.Bodrum Maritime Museum

Bodrum Deniz Müzesi

The Bodrum Maritime Museum, which exhibits its works in a tent set up in front of Bodrum Castle in 2010, was moved to the old covered bazaar building with the contributions of the Bodrum Municipality, and the works are exhibited openly to the public.

In the museum, Bodrum’s traditional boats and seashells collected from different places, personal belongings of Halicarnassus Fisherman Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı, photographs and historical documents are exhibited.

Different events are held in the museum all the time. During your visit to the museum, you can get cultured on different subjects as a bonus.
