Bodrum Castle
Bodrum Castle was builted by Saint Jean Knights in 1406-1522. When they were building this castle, they used the stones from Bodrum Mausoleion. There are French, Italian, British, Germany, Spanish towers. When Turks attached Rhodes island in 1522, Saint Jean Knights was started to leave here in 5 january 1523. The castle was using for prison in 1895. Here is bombed by English and French millitary in first world war, in 1915.

Stratonikeia Ancient City
Name of Stratonikeia was ‘Atriya’ in Hittite, ‘Khrysaoris’ in Archaic, ‘Stratonikeia’ in Hellenistic and ‘Eskihisar’ is new name.

Beçin was capital of Menteşeoğulları Beyliği. Beçin city is important about Turkish Culture and History in 14. 15. century.

Pınara ve Tlos Ancient Cities
Here was ancient circular city. Ancient author mentions about here. Xanthos was crowded and the elders was gone to Kragos Mountain. Then they were built a circular city which was called Pınara. The name of city means Pinale in Likya. But now name of city is Pınara village.
Tlos Ancient city is in Seydikemer which is in UNESCO world temporary list. Likya area is the oldest place. Hittits were wrote here ‘Dlawa’ B.C 14 century. Likya were wrote here ‘Tlawa’.
