Bencik bay is in Hisarönü Marmaris. It separates Marmaris and Datça.
History
Persians attacked to Aegean cities and who were came to here in B.C 540 .
Herodotus according to what he wrote Persian governor of Kayra came to Datça chersonese. Public of Knidos was diged 500 meter to defense and for confederating Gökova and Hisarönü bay. So two seas would confederate and to defense would be easy. Archaeology shows they tried but fail. Persians were conquered Knidos.
Geography
This bay has forest throughout and beach which isnt take strong wind so boat captains prefer here from Marmaris and Datça. You can walk 30 minutes then you can arrive Bördübet bay.

When you go to Datça from Marmaris you will see D Maris Hotel your left sight you should go to straight the way. Or you can take a bus in Datça. There isnt any market or hotels in Bencik Bay. My advise is you should take your needs befor to come here.
Accommodation
D Maris Bay Otel is in this bay. And ther is a camping area but its not comfortable.
If you dont want to stay in hotels you can set up a tent.
