Sedir island or Kleopatra Beach is a great small island. When you are in Marmaris, you should add this route on your journey and touch the sands.<\/span><\/p>\n

There was war between Athenian and Sparta which is Peloponnessos B.C 405. Sparta was conquered this city. Turks were started to attack in Anatolia A.D 11. and Ottomon Empire was conquered A.D 15.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kleopatra beach is the best bay of the island. It is realy small beach. Here is special because this islands’ sand is slim and nice. But sand of the island is the protection. You cant take away this sands so here is closed. Howbeit some visitors try to take some sand in their pocket. You can swim in two parts of the island. While you are walking to sea, you can feel some rocks under your feet but a few meters you will feel straight sand. There is an area without sand near the lounges. If you want, you can spread your towel and sunbath. If you swim you should have a shower and you should leave sands on your body. If you want to go to swim my advice is\u00a0 you should go to early morning and afternnoon. 200.000 people visit every summer. If you want you can take a boat tour everyday at 13.00.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a ancient city in this island. This city has a ancient theater, agora, Cedrae Ancient City Walls, K\u0131stak (Isthmus) church, ancient port and cisterns for raining waters. You can see stones of\u00a0 Apollon Temple. Apollon tap\u0131na\u011f\u0131n\u0131n ise sadece temelleri kalm\u0131\u015f.There are some cedar trees.<\/span><\/p>\n

Accommodation Eating and Drinking In Sedir island \/ beach<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

There is a restaurant and it makes hamburger, toast etc. But they are little bit expensive because here is a island and you cant find a different place to eat. There is a changing cubicle, wc and shower. But you cant roost for night. There isnt any camping area or hotels.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to get to Sedir island?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Sedir island is in Ula. You have to two options for going to Sedir island. If you are in Marmaris you can go with taxi boat from \u00c7aml\u0131 Village or if\u00a0 you can take a boat trip from Akyaka. Dont forget to take a museum cart for ancient citys. If you dont have museum card you can buy the museum card. You can pay 30 tl for it.<\/span><\/p>\n

The island is open 08.30 and 19.00 in aptil between october. Visitors are coming usually afternoon so here is crowded. If you come with boat trip you will have 1 hour for rest and trip.<\/span><\/p>\n
