The museum, which displays the sunken ship remains and the goods carried by the ships from the excavations in and around Bodrum, is located in Bodrum Castle, Turkey’s only intact and still standing castle.<\/p>\n

There are 14 exhibition halls in the museum, which was created within the castle. There are pottery called amphora, glassware and Byzantine period ruins. One of the most important remains is the Ancient Ship ruin. The remains of the Ancient Ship, which sank in 1025, are exhibited in the Ser\u00e7e Limani Glass Wreck Hall and is known as the oldest shipwreck in the world.<\/p>\n
